For those who don’t live in Texas, Austin is the capitol of our great state as well as the heart of our beloved “Hill Country”, and our greatest university (UT).  Whenever we visit, my daughter-in-law Laura has a list of things to see and do.  Amazing city, filled with art galleries, gardens, and beautiful natural parks.  According to Laura we haven’t even scratched the surface of things to do.  Today we visited Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, left to the city by a University of Texas art professor Charles Umlauf.  As you can see, our newest family photographer, Ika, took advantage of the amazing sculptures along the walk, while Matt commandeered the stroller of grandbabies (great practice for the future).  The city offers so much to make for fun family times every trip.  Next time ~ I’m bringing the kayaks for Lake Travis.  The lake is up!!
